Man vs. Cartoon

Man vs. Cartoon is the TruTV series that takes a look at the physics and science of the wacky world of classic cartoons. We all remember the contraptions and situations in cartoons like Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner, where the clumsy coyote tries to use elaborate means to catch his nemesis the Road Runner. Now the team at New Mexico Tech's Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center are aiming to put those wacky contraptions to the test. The team goes to work to try to recreate Wile E.'s traps to see if they can succeed where he failed, building rocket skates, model plane bombs, Rube Goldberg machines, hot air balloons that drop anvils, and many other classic traps that didn't quite work out.
