Magick was a 2003 comedic television series full of funny magic and surreal characters in uncomfortable and bizarre situations. In America it was known as 'Crack Magic' and in Australia it was called 'Sick Tricks.' It starred the famous underground Scottish magicians Barry Jones and Stuart MacLeod. They are known for their darkly comedic and blood filled magic tricks that are often based of religious miracles from the Bible. They met in 1994 in Aberdeen and started filming themselves performing magic. Those early films led to television interest, which then evolved into the 'Magick show. The show was edgy and weird, using hidden cameras and CCTV footage to show magic being committed like crimes throughout. They got away from cops by disappearing tricks, broke into cars without breaking glass and magically put dead insects and razor blades into closed products in super markets. The show was nominated for a Rose D'Or best comedy series award at the International Television Awards in Montreux in 2004.MORE
