Magical Shopping Arcade is an animated supernatural comedy TV series developed by Gainex studios that follows childhood friends Arumi and Sasshi after an accident in a shopping center sends them into a world not only based on swords and magic but also built on the many genres of games and film, such as science fiction, fantasy, and dating simulations As each world seemingly is based on the fan passion of Sasshi, a hyperactive twelve year old, he quickly catches on to the rules of the world in order to bring them one-step closer to their normal lives. Arumi, Sasshi's best friend and crush, is rather sensible, compared to the obsessive fan that is Sasshi, and refuses to play along. The two travel from each world while gaining help from a doomed wanderer Eutus and averting the disaster of a not-quite helpful Mune-Mune.
