Life is a police drama TV series developed by NBC that follows Charlie Crews (Damian Lewis), a Los Angeles police detective just released after serving twelve years of a life sentence, where he was beaten regularly by the convicts because of his status as former cop. Crews had been wrongfully convicted of a triple murder, including that of his former partner, and it took years for the DNA evidence to prove just that. Having lost everything – his wife, his house, his job, and his life, Crews gets a second chance after he sues the city and gets his job back, along with a hefty settlement of over $50 million dollars. He gains a new partner, Detective Dani Reese (Sarah Shahi), a new housemate, former CEO Ted Earley (Adam Arkin), and a new commanding officer, easy-going Captain Kevin Tidwell (Donal Logue). Life is an interesting TV series that watches the struggle of an innocent law officer who has experienced life on the other side as he tries to deal with the rest of the world having left him behind.MORE
