Life UneXpected

Life Unexpected is a television series on the CW about Lux, a 15 year old girl who's spent her life bouncing from one foster family to another but has never been adopted, most likely due to the medical problems she had as a baby. On her 16th birthday she decides to become an emancipated minor, but she has to get the permission from her biological parents before she can. She meets Baze, her biological father, who owns a bar and still lives a partying lifestyle. He also introduces her to Cate, a local radio personality after he finds himself already attached to his daughter. When Cate learns that Lux's life didn't go as she had hoped with a stable adopted home, she feels regret about her decision to give up her baby as a teenager. Though both sign the emancipation papers, a judge decides that Lux isn't ready for emancipation, and Baze and Cate will have temporary custody. This creates a drastic change in all their lives, as Baze and Cate must re-establish a friendship for Lux's sake, and both must figure out how to give their daughter the parents she never had. MORE
