Leverage is a dramatic television series airing on TNT about a team of former criminals who use their expertise to fight for individuals who have been wronged and have no legal recourse. Former fraud investigator Nathan Ford (Timothy Hutton) is initially approached to assemble his team in order to steal back secret plans for a aerospace company. When they are double-crossed, the team turns its attention against the company and plans their payback. After exposing their betrayer and making millions by shorting the company's stock, the team decides the stay together for the thrill of the job. Ford chooses their jobs to help people instead of for financial reasons, making the group a team of modern day Robin Hoods. They target corporations and corrupt government officials who are so powerful that the citizens they have done wrong are helpless to receive recourse.
