Land of the Giants

Land of the Giants is a classic ABC science fiction adventure series, created by Irwin Allen and starring Gary Conway, Don Matheson, and Deanna Lund Taking place in the not-so-distant future, this series tells the story of the crew and passengers of a commercial transport spaceship who get shipwrecked on a foreign planet during a trip from Los Angeles to London. Parabolic trajectory is the fastest way to travel Earth, using a sub-orbital spaceship to quickly cover long distances. When the Spindrift crosses Earth's boundary with outer space, a strange space storm appears and takes the ship to a mysterious planet. The planet is not too different than Earth. It has similar terrain, a similar environment, and the people living there look very human. But there's one big difference—everything on this planet is twelve times larger than everything on Earth. The people, the buildings, the animals, everything towers above the disoriented occupants of the Spindrift.
