Kyle XY

Kyle XY is a science fiction television series from ABC Family that focuses on the life of Kyle Trager (Matt Dallas), a teenager who is unable to remember anything from his past life Kyle is found naked in the woods and he seems to be suffering from amnesia. In addition to not being able to remember who he is or where he came from, Kyle also lacks social skills and cannot understand typical human interactions. Physically, Kyle appears normal, except that he is missing a belly button. He is taken in by the Tragers, Josh (Jean-Luc Bilodeau), Lori (April Matson), Stephen (Bruce Thomas), and Nicole (Marguerite MacIntyre). The family begins to realize that Kyle isn't like other teenagers; he has supernatural powers and great intelligence that seem to come from some extraterrestrial origin. Although Kyle XY had a rabid fan base, the show was canceled in 2009 after its third season and fans were left without a conclusion to most of the show's cliffhangers. Many Save Kyle XY petitions were passed around the internet at the time, but the fans were not able to save the series. The final DVDs do include a wrap-up called Kyle XY: Future Revealed, which interviews the writers and actors to explain what would have happened had the show continued. There are two novels written by S.G. Wilkins that are based on the television series, called Kyle XY: Nowhere to Hide (2007) and Kyle XY: Under the Radar (2008). MORE
