K-Ville (short for Katrinaville) is a crime drama on FOX that focuses on the lives of a police force in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. The show centers around Marlin Boulet (Anthony Anderson), an officer who suffered through the worst of Katrina to save lives and protect his beloved hometown. Even though his partner was scared off by the terrible conditions, Marlin stood strong and made it through everything Mother Nature threw his way. Now, Marlin is determined to catch the bad guys, no matter what means are necessary to do so. He's willing to break police protocol in his investigating and arresting of criminals. His new partner is Trevor Cobb (Cole Hauser), a former solder who was stationed in Afghanistan. Used to following commands, Trevor is less than thrilled by Marlin's desire to bend the rules. Trevor and Marlin must fight against all odds to clean up the streets of New Orleans and put together the pieces of the city after the terrible destruction of Katrina. Will they be able to get New Orleans back in shape, or will their dark and problematic pasts get in the way? K-Ville was created and produced by Jonathan Lisco, a former lawyer who has also written for The District and NYPD Blue. It aired in 2008, but was canceled after only one season.MORE
