Kitchen Confidential was a TV series on FOX based on Anthony Bourdain’s bestselling book “Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly.” The series centered around Jack Bourdain (Bradley Cooper) a former wonderboy chef who blew his career on hubris, booze and women. Sentenced to the purgatory of a family food restaurant, and AA, Jack tries to put his life back together. When a wealthy restauranteur (Frank Langella) gives him the chance to make a comeback as the Executive Chef of the new upscale New York eatery, “Nolita,” Jack only has 48 hours to assemble an entire kitchen staff and menu from scratch. Together, Jack and his ragtag crew create one of New York’s finest dining establishments, even if the kitchen is pure chaos.
