King of Wake

King of Wake is a wakeboarding sports show broadcast on Fuel TV. The show features competitions and events surrounding the professional World Cup Series for wakeboarding. Each competitor is hoping to work his way through the wakeboarding circuit to become the WWA World Champion. Viewers are able to witness all the fast action as the most elite riders battle it out on the water, at speeds of around 25 mph, for the world's most coveted titles. The points chase begins in the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour, then the Air Nautique Wake games, the WWA National Championships, and finally the WWA World Championships. Each season, the winning man is awarded the title of "King of Wake" and receives around $25,000 in prize money. Recently, women were added to the competition with the winner earning the title of "Queen of Wake" and around $10,000 in prize money.
