Kenny The Shark

Kenny the Shark, a children's animated series, was first broadcast in 2003 on the Discovery Kids network. Featuring Jim Conroy as the voice of Kenny, the series ran for two seasons with twenty-six episodes in total. The story centers around Kenny, a tiger shark has chosen to live life on land. He lives in a house with an eleven-year-old girl named Kat, who coincidentally is the only human that can talk to Kenny. Kat, voiced by Kelli Rabke, is a fun-loving elementary school student who happens to have a shark as a best friend. Grace and Peter Cassidy, voiced by Karen Culp and Russell Horton respectively, are Kat's parents. While they tolerate Kenny, they don't enjoy his teeth shedding, constant eating, or clumsiness. Many of Kat's friends from school don't quite understand why Kat has a shark as a pet, but for a few it doesn't make a difference one way or the other.
