Kaya is a scripted 2007 MTV series about Kaya (Danielle Savre), a young female rock star whose skyrocket to overnight success can prove to be challenging. She learns that with all the perks of wealth and fame, there are sacrifices that she has to make along the way and she has made some mistakes too that have damaged some relationships and possibly herself. In the series, which was co-produced by both the Canadian and U.S. MTV network, aired 10 episodes about Kaya, the lead singer for the fictional rock band Crossing Coldwater.
