Justice League Unlimited or JLU for short is the Cartoon Network animated Superhero series that follows the adventures of the legendary team of heroes, the Justice League. The original members of the League include Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, and Hawkgirl. Taking place after the previous Justice League series, the founding members are now joined by many other superheroes from the DC Universe, with over 50 characters appearing in the first episode. Now the expanded League also includes heroes like Aquaman, Mister Miracle, Stargirl and more. The series shows the Justice League fighting against villains and a building conflict between them and the secret government agency known as Project Cadmus.
