Jump City: Seattle is the G4 series that brings you the first-ever American championship Parkour competition. Parkour, sometimes referred to as freerunning, is the art and sport of traversing an environment using only your own body. Freerunners jump, climb, roll and swing their way through dense urban environments, doing some crazy aerial moves along the way on their dangerous paths. Originally of French origin, Parkour has captured the imagination of the whole world thanks to some amazing videos posted and shared online. With freerunning appearing in movies and video games like Casino Royale, Mirror's Edge and Assassin's Creed, the sport has become widely known and appreciated. Now G4 TV is bringing the sport to their network with Jump City: Seattle, with the first-ever American Parkour championship. The competition pits four Parkour Teams, Miami Freerunning, The Tribe, Tempest Freerunning and Rogue against each other in tests of speed, skill and style throughout Seattle.
