Jerseylicious

Jerseylicious is a reality show on the Style Network about Jersey’s Gatsby salon and the interesting group of stylists that work there- Gayle, Olivia, Alexa, Gigi, Christy, Tracy, and Anthony. Gayle is the salon’s owner after inheriting it when her second husband passed away and is now focusing on the business after ending her third marriage, and daughter Christy is trying to help with the family business while starting a family of her own. Olivia is a makeup artist who seems to have drama follow her, but is working at starting her own salon someday, and Tracy has achieved quick success after proving herself as a talented stylist. Anthony breaks the mold as a straight, married hairstylist, a business he initially got into to meet girls, Gigi balances her career with a tumultuous relationship that she really wants to lead to the perfect family, and Alexa, who thinks outside of the “jersey girl” image juggles the Gatsby with her weekend makeup business for brides. The show follows the employees of the salon as they deal with beauty politics, including offers from other salons, their personal lives as some break up, and some get engaged, and they deal with each other, whose personalities are bigger than the hairstyles they create.
