Jeremiah is a post-apocalyptic science fiction TV series developed by Showtime based on Hermann Huppen's comic book series of the same name that takes place in a world where a plague has wiped out anyone over the age twelve, or at least, the age of puberty In the year 2021, it has been at least fifteen years since the "big death" with the surviving children grown and floundering in this decimated world. For Jeremiah (Luke Perry), his father (Robert Wisden), a viral scientist, told him to go find the Valhalla Sector, a sealed and heavily armed bunker that might or might not house surviving adults from before the plague. With the help of Kurdy Malloy (Malcolm-Jamal Warner), they discover a secretive group nestled within "Thunder Mountain", which had once been NORAD, that wants to rebuild the world with military control and little care for the lives of those who are non-compliant. Jeremiah and Kurdy roam the remaining lands of the east coast, gathering supplies and hoping to discover whether the survivors can rebuild or slowly kill themselves in the chaos.MORE
