Jack & Bobby

Jack and Bobby is a coming-of-age drama TV series developed by the WB that centers on the McCallister brothers as they develop and mature in a reminiscence of the one who grew up to become the President of the United States. Both Jack (Matthew Long) and Bobby (Logan Lerman) were bright, athletic, and compassionate, thanks to their college professor and single mother, Grace (Christine Lahti). The older Jack was a natural leader, often taking the moral high road in order to act as a role model in light of how unconventional and somewhat controversial Grace acted in their college town of Hart, Missouri. The younger Bobby was unbelievably brilliant, somewhat naïve, and hard to understand. Jack and Bobby explores just what factors are involved in shaping a person’s character and values, especially in how relationships, including those of a childhood crush (Jessica Pare), a competitive best friend (Edwin Hodge), and an absent father, can inspire a change in the world.
