In Harm's Way

In Harm's Way was a reality show that aired on The CW network that showed real people with life-threatening jobs, creating an exciting, action-packed viewing experience. For example, the first episode explored the dangerous lives of professional bull riders. Reality TV maven Craig Piligian created this show and executive-produced the first episode; some of his other well-known reality show credits include Dirty Jobs, American Chopper, Ghost Hunters, and even two episodes of the show that started it all: Survivor. In Harm's Way's host was Hunter Ellis, who was not only chosen by People Magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world, but also had a life-threatening job of his own as a Navy Fighter Pilot. The show aired in 2008 and 2009 for a total of eight one-hour episodes. Other episodes focused on similarly thrilling professions: Coast Guard swimmers, live animal rescuers, minesweepers, volcanologists, war photographers, and hurricane hunters. MORE
