I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!

I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! is a reality game show that aired on ABC and NBC that centered around a group of celebrities who were asked to inhabit a jungle area without modern comforts to compete for a grand prize. Based on a British series of the same name, I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! originally aired on ABC in 2003. John Lehr hosted, and the contestants were forced to live in the Australian outback. The celebrities during that first season included Cris Judd (dancer), who eventually won the cash prize, Melissa Rivers (TV personality), Bruce Jenner (athlete), John Melendez (radio personality), Downtown Julie Brown (VJ for MTV), Tyson Beckford (model), Nikki Schieler Ziering (model), Maria Conchita Alonso (actress), Alana Stewart (model), and Robin Leach (writer for television). NBC picked up the show from ABC and ran season two in 2009. Myleene Klass and Damien Fahey hosted and the location was Costa Rica this time around. The contestants included winner Lou Diamond Philips (actor), Torrie Wilson (wrestler), John Salley (basketball player), Patti Blagojevich, Sanjaya Malakar (American Idol contestant), Holly Montag (The Hills star), Heidi Montag (The Hills star), Spencer Pratt (The Hills star), Stephen Baldwin (actor), Janice Dickinson (TV host), Daniel Baldwin (actor), Frances Callier (comedian), and Angela V. Shelton (comedian). Despite it's obvious celebrity backing, I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! was not renewed for a third season. MORE
