I Get That a Lot

I Get That A Lot is a CBS reality TV special about celebrities who pretend to be average working class citizens in an attempt to dupe the everyday people they encounter. Hidden cameras capture the celebrities' often-humorous, sometimes abrasive interactions with passersby. When identified, celebrities say, "I get that a lot," and continue to assume their false identities until the end of the segment, when the cameras are revealed and the celebrities come forward about who they really are, much to their targets' surprise. Initially, I Get That A Lot aired as a Television special for April Fool's Day in 2009, the special has aired multiple times since with new celebrities in disguise. Participating stars have included Heidi Klum, Ice-T, Jessica Simpson, Tony Hawk, LeAnn Rimes, Mario Lopez, Kiss vocalist Gene Simmons, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, Early Show host Julie Chen, Food Network star Rachael Ray, Wayne Brady, Tim Gunn, Martha Stewart and Nick Jonas.
