I Am Not an Animal

I Am Not an Animal is an animated comedy series that follows the ongoing (and bizarre) drama of a group of talking animals. Unlike other animated talking animals, these animals were scientifically engineered to have human intelligence of the highest order and an equally luxurious lifestyle in the Vivi-Sec UK laboratories. When a group of animal rights activists "rescues" them from their captivity and they escape into the real world, these pretentious animals become the perfect conduit for a social satire from the perspective of outsiders trying to make it in a new environment. In one episode the animals attempt to find work that doesn't require them to reveal themselves: an operator for the XXX Hot Chat Line, an air traffic controller who works from home, and a masked hit man for convenience store owners who have been robbed. However, the biggest threat to their survival may not be a low cash flow; the lab has spliced their old friend's cat head onto the body of an ape and sent him out to find and destroy them all. MORE
