Hidden Potential

Hidden Potential is an HGTV home improvement series hosted by Peggy Bunker (and later Brandie Malay) that follows prospective home buyers on the hunt for a new house, as they receive advice from experts on each house's fixer-upper potential. Buyers often have grand visions for their dream home when they begin the often stressful search for a new home. This series offers the idea that dream homes are often in disguise when you first see them, and a house that doesn't thrill at first sight might hold plenty of room for easy improvement. As the buyers look at houses on their search, design expert Barry Wood uses computer-generated graphics to help the buyer see what the home could look like after a little work.
