Here's Lucy

Here's Lucy is a comedy TV series developed by CBS that follows the life of Lucy Carter (Lucille Ball), a somewhat ditzy single-working widow who pulls up her roots to move her family to Los Angeles in order to work in an employment agency run by her brother-in-law, Harry (Gale Gordon). With two kids, Kim (Lucie Arnaz) and Craig (Desi Arnaz, Jr.), in tow, Lucy does her best to get into her new job, often running across the stars of the day, including Carol Burnett, Jack Benny, Liz Taylor, Richard Burton, and Johnny Carson. Of course, her overzealousness tends to get her into trouble – like getting Liz Taylor's very expensive and very sparkly diamond ring stuck on her finger – despite her arrogant and overbearing brother-in-law's attempts to keep her in line with the help of her straight-laced best friend Mary Jane Lewis (Mary Jane Croft).
