Gulliver's Travels

Gulliver's Travels is the NBC miniseries based on the classic novel by Jonathan Swift, Starring Ted Danson as Dr. Gulliver, and produced by the imaginative minds at Jim Henson Productions and Hallmark Entertainment. When Dr. Gulliver comes home after eight years of absence, he tells the story of his trip to the Land of Lilliput, where he was thought to be a giant, and his travels to Brobdingnag where he was only six inches tall. He also traveled to the island of Laputa which was entirely populated by scientists with no common sense, and his encounter with the Yahoos and the intelligent horses of their land. He tells his story when he returns and finds that another doctor is trying to take over his practice and steal his wife, but the people think he is insane, committing him to an asylum for his wild tales of strange and distant lands.
