Gravity is a dramedy series created by Jill Franklyn and Eric Schaeffer that premiered on Starz on April 23rd, 2010. The show follows the lives of a diverse group of characters who are thrown together in a court-ordered suicide-survivors support group. Set in New York City, Gravity stars the eccentric cosmetics salesgirl, Lily Champagne (Krysten Ritter) who falls into an unexpected romance with fellow survivor, Robert Collingsworth (Ivan Sergei), a devout Catholic overwhelmingly depressed by the death of his wife. The pair is joined by outcast teen, Adam Rosenblum (Seth Numrich), washed-up supermodel Shawna Rollins (Rachel Hunter), self-deprecating construction worker Jorge Sanchez (James Martinez), and unfulfilled housewife Carla Glick (Robyn Cohen). Dogg McFee (Ving Rhames) is the no-nonsense support group leader who tries to inspire the members of this motley crew to get back on their feet again. Eric Schaeffer plays Detective Miller, the quirky law enforcement agent who takes a peculiar interest in Lily and Robert’s relationship. The series was originally known as Failure to Fly. Gravity was not renewed for a second season, and the ten-episode season ended on June 25th, 2010.MORE
