Goosebumps

Goosebumps was a live-action television show for children based on the popular Goosebumps book series written by R.L. Stine. The original Goosebumps book series that the television series is based on ran from 1992 to 1997 spawning numerous product tie-ins such as board games, clothing, amusement park rides and a forthcoming movie. Goosebumps were meant to be scary stories for children and the television show carries on the legacy of the book series. The Goosebumps television series ran for 4 seasons culminating in 74 episodes with material from over 40 of the books. The Haunted Mask, one of the most popular Goosebumps books, was created as the first episode of the television series starring Kathryn Long as Carly Beth. At some point in the show's history the title was changed to Ultimate Goosebumps, but the feel and emotion of the original series was still intact. Although the Goosebumps television series ended, R.L. Stine still works on a Goosebumps spin-off series entitled, Goosebumps Horrorland, which is named after book #16 of the series, One Day at Horrorland. MORE
