Global Watch

Global Watch is a news documentary TV series developed by PBS that centers on the world and the global image set forth by the United States. In a time when America had been considered one of the major powerhouses of the past century, Global Watch looks at how the public image is truly viewed by other countries, especially now that the reputation is in a major decline. Anchor Daljit Dhaliwal, field correspondents Gordon Corera, Mark Mullen, and Judy Muller, Global Watch sets out to educate, inform, and connect with viewers in order to become not only citizens of their respective countries but also citizens of the world. While America has dealt with its own problems on the home front, Global Watch is there to show the evolution on where the United States stands in the eyes of the world, including that of its allies, neutrals, and non-friendlies. Global Watch offers videos, newscasts, and articles of recent events, from the U.S. War on Terror and the impact of China, as well as offering ways for viewers to express their opinions with discussion forums and updates.
