Ghostbusters: The Animated Series is the 1986 animated television series that was based on the live-action show from the 1970's, The Ghost Busters. The team is made up of Jake Kong, Eddie Spenser and Tracy the Gorilla. Jake and Eddie are the sons of the original Ghost Busters, and Tracy worked with their fathers. The team works out of Ghost Command, their haunted mansion headquarters. They are on a mission to stop the evil ghost wizard Prime Evil, and are joined by characters like the talking skull phone Ansa-Bone, the skeleton television Skelevision, the pink talking bat Belfrey, and their talking ghost car Ghost Buggy. Prime Evil and his henchmen work out of Hauntquarters, which is in a different dimension, and Prime Evil uses wormholes to transport his henchmen to take over our planet.
