Ghost Hunters Academy

Ghost Hunters Academy, sometimes abbreviated as GHA, is a reality television series on the paranormal that debuted in November 2009 on Syfy. The program falls inline with the other Ghost Hunter programs like Ghost Hunter International and UFO Hunters. The premise of the show focuses on a group of prospective paranormal investigators who are taken to various sites across the country to learn from professional paranormal investigators. The program is the third spin-off series based on Ghost Hunters (after Ghost Hunters International and UFO Hunters). Over the course of the show, TAPS members Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango lead the group of prospective paranormal investigators into a number of well-known venues known for their paranormal activity and teach them the ropes. Some of the venues include Fort Mifflin and Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, PA, USS North Carolina Museum in Wilmington, North Carolina, Mark Twain House in Hartford, Connecticut and Buffalo Central Terminal in Buffalo, New York.
