Ghost Adventures

Ghost Adventures is a realtiy television show airing on Travel Channel following trio of ghosthunters Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin as they investigate supposedley hanuted locales with paranormal stories. Bagans and Groff co-founded the Ghost Adventure Crew (GAC), a worldwide community of ghost hunters. Bagans was a non-beleiver before coming face to face with a spirit in his apartment, and he and Groff joined together after meeting at a wedding and realizing they shared a passion for paranormal investigation. Each episode begins with a tour of the locale with the owner or caretaker. The group takes a tour of the facility with the owner or caretaker during the daytime and marks the area where there has been paranormal activity. This is also when the viewer learns the backstory to why it is believed the place is haunted. They return at night and are locked into the place from dusk til dawn for their investigation. Using an assortment of equipment including infrared cameras, digital thermometers and audio recorders, the group gathers evidence to support the claim that the locale is haunted. Many times equipment malfunctions are seen as parnormal events, as they will malfunction at the same time. The show has also featured Bagans and Groff being "possessed" by spirits and leaving the house with strange marks. MORE
