Get Backers

Get Backers is a manga series that was picked up on October 5, 2002 by Studio Deen to be broadcast as an animated series. The concept was created and written by Yuya Aoki, who admits he made many changes to the characters and series in the process of writing. The team of the Get Backers is composed of the main character Ban Mido and Ginji Amano, both whom are very formidable men. The pairs focus is retrieving "things that are lost" for their clients, no matter where the item may be located. Often their assignments lead them into dangerous areas where Ban Mido's use of his super natural ability called "Evil Eye" becomes necessary. The pair promise an absolute success rate to their clients, even though the assignments are dangerous and often difficult to complete. The completion of each assignment is often made more difficult due to the pair's individual past histories, as well as the varied connections they have to dangerous groups from each of their lives.
