George Lopez

George Lopez is American sitcom starring original latin king stand-up comedian George Lopez. The series revolves around George Lopez and his extended family and the many odd and hilarious situations that occur as a result of their Hispanic and Cuban backgrounds. Since becoming plant manager for an airplane parts manufacturer, The Powers Brothers, George has had a lot on his plate. A complicated job, a strong and passionate, yet complicated, marriage to Angela Palmero Lopez (Constance Marie), two rebelling teenagers, his lying, chain-smoking mother Benny (Belta Moreno), and his father-in-law Victor Palmero (Emiliano Diez). His co-worker and best friend since childhood Ernie (Valente Rodriquez) keeps things in perspective. Ernie still lives with his parents, answers to George at work, and has no luck with the ladies, yet he keeps a happy-go-lucky attitude that keeps George sane. Their loyalty to each other is inspiring, their wisecracks towards Benny are insensitive, and their passion for their jobs are motivating. This is the same attitude George keeps when dealing with his children, especially with with rebel teen Carmen (Masiela Lusha).
