Fugitive Chronicles: True Stories of Life on the Run is an original docu-drama series from A&E Network that recreates the most compelling stories of fugitives and how they were captured in a style similar to cinema. All stories are based on actual events and are conveyed from the point of view of the captor as well as those on the man hunt. Each one hour episode attempts to describe the dramatic events that led to each infamous man hunt with real testimony from the actual fugitives and law enforcement. With each recreation, exclusive taped footage is used throughout each ordeal to give each recreation and real life look and feel. Fugitive Chronicles examines the events that lead to each crime, how the suspects were able to escape, and what new restrictions are being put in place to ensure that less and less criminals are encouraged to commit a crime and live a life on the run.
