Five Days

Five Days is an HBO miniseries event produced in association with the BBC starring David Oyelowo, Penelope Wilton, and Hugh Bonneville in a gripping mystery about an unsolved mystery the police never give up on, and the five days over the course of the long investigation that revealed the essential clues to reveal the person responsible for the crime. Leanne Wellings and two of her children, Rosie and Ethan, are traveling to visit Leanne's grandfather one day when all three of them disappear. They are several eye witnesses who see them at various points along the trip, but no one knows exactly what happened. Leanne's husband, Matt (Oyelowo), is desperate to know what happened to his precious family. The police begin an investigation, but Leanne and their children seem to have disappeared into thin air. For the majority of the investigation, the detectives fail to discover anything new that could reveal the whereabouts of the missing persons. This series focuses on the first, third, twenty-eighth, thirty-third, and seventy-ninth days of the investigation—the five days that led them to a cold-blooded killer. MORE
