Fist of the North Star

Fist of the North Star is an animated action adventure directed by Toyoo Ashida that centers on Kenshiro, the youngest of four adopted brothers and named successor of a deadly assassination fighting style called Hokuto Shinken, as he tries to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. In a world where typical humans are slaves to the genetically modified ones, Kenshiro travels across the wasteland in order to get his girlfriend, Julia, back from the opposing bitter and envious Shin, who has pulled together a school of worthy adversaries, including Kenshiro's three brothers, in order to take on the fight against the rightful successor of Hokuto. Along the way, Kenshiro agrees for two orphans to accompany him, the compassionate young man, Bat, and the rebellious and beautiful Lin. With the treachery and plots swirling around the barren world, Kenshiro, Bat, and Lin work together in order to take down the Nanto school of fighters and the treacherous Imperial Army. MORE
