Find My Family is a TV show airing on ABC that bring family members who have lost touch back together again. The series follows successful versions of the show in Holland and Australia. The show is hosted by two adoptess, Tim Green and Lisa Joyner, who wish they could be reunited with their birth parents. The show isn't focused solely on adoption; there are a variety of reasons why the family members have not seen each other in years. The reunions take place under the “family tree”, where the searchers and searchees are brought together again. Green, a former footballer player, meets with the searcher who Is looking for their lost loved one. He tells the story of how the falling out happened and why the searcher wants a reunion. Joyner is in charge of telling the searchees that someone they loved has been looking for them and wants to meet. The actual tracking down of the wanted party isn't covered on the show, as they focus on tugging the heartstrings with emotional meetings.MORE
