Fight Science

Fight Science is a kick-ass (literally!) television series provided by the National Geographic Channel. On this show, scientists and masters in martial arts come together to discuss the validity of all fighting types and techniques - from high-kicks to karate chops, from Jiu-Jitsu to Krav Maga. The real purpose of the show is to conclude which martial art is truly the most effective when using it in self-defense. Additionally, the scientists and martial arts masters in the show put fighting legends to the test. For example, some things that they test are the claim that ninja's are really nimble, that one can shatter a block of bricks using one's head, and that a so called "death-punch" can kill any predator. Celebrity fighters are also known to make occasional appearances. These include Rickson Gracie, Bas Rutten, Randy Couture, Alex Huynh, Amir Perets, Bren Foster, Glen Levy, and Dan Inosanto.
