Faking The Video

Faking the Video is a half-hour reality series on MTV. This new hidden camera prank show features several artists like JC Chasez, Omarion and Michelle Branch, along with a cast of six unsuspecting production assistants who think they've scored the job of a lifetime working on a major music video production in Los Angeles, but they couldn't be more wrong. The entire show is a hoax designed to decide which of these hopeful PA's can survive the shoot from hell to catch their big break. The key crew members that are in on the prank are really improvisational actors and every twist and turn will be captured by the hidden cameras placed throughout the set. It's not all a joke though, what they will soon find out is that they are also part of an elimination process with a cash prize and the chance to work for famed music director Wayne Isham at the end.
