Factory

The Factory is a Spike TV show that tells the story of four "regular" guys that live in a small Illinois town. Each of the four characters, Gary (Mitch Rouse), Smitty (David Pasquesi), Gus (Jay Leggett), and Chase, (Renee Albert) are vastly different, but share some very similar qualities and aspirations. While growing up, they drank a lot of beer, and dreamed of making a name for themselves. They still drink a lot of beer now, but they work at the local factory. Gary is the unspoken leader of the group, who works long hours at the factory to avoid his bi-polar wife. Smitty is a very sarcastic character who still lives with his ex-wife, but he considers himself the intellectual of the group. Gus is the "nice guy," but he sometimes manipulates the other members of the group. Chase is the immature member of the group, and although his friends sometimes make fun of him, they all enjoy his company and encourage him. The first episode of The Factory leaves the four friends in a dilemma, a job opening in the factory has opened, and one of the four must decide who gets the promotion - which actually requires work.
