Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files

Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files is a paranormal investigation television series on the SyFy network. Produced by Base Productions, the series began airing on July 15, 2010. The show follows a group of paranormal investigators, led by former FBI agent Ben Hansen. The team watches and passes judgment on paranormal activity evidenced by videos and pictures, usually found on the internet. If the team deems it worthy, they engage in a thorough investigation of the paranormal activity. The team will then move forward to recreate the sighting, with hopes to offer an explanation to the paranormal activity. The show, described as a mix of "Mythbusters meets Destination Truth" has gotten praise from media outlets, with Variety magazine saying, "Now we know what Fox Mulder would have done after leaving "The X-Files" unit: Get his own reality-TV show!"
