Eleventh Hour

Eleventh Hour is a dramatic television series which aired on CBS following Dr. Jacob Hood (Rufus Sewell), a top biophysicist appointed the Special Science Adviser of the FBI who must investigate the most difficult crimes involving scientific events and paranormal oddities. He represents the last resort when all other methods have failed, thus he is only called at the "eleventh hour." He is passionate about his job of keeping scientific advances away from those who wish to exploit it for their own gain. While is brilliance is unquestioned, his tendency to get lost in his own mind and his lack of social skills make him seem like an eccentric figure to most of his colleagues. He has no problem putting his life in jeopardy if it will help him solve the case.
