Eco Heroes

Eco Heroes is a reality television series from The Sundance Channel that follows host Majora Carter as she travels around the country and visits with some of the nation's most visionary leaders in the Eco Movement, drawing attention to the work being done to improve humanity's relationship with the environment and ensure a better future for the planet. Majora Carter has spent the past decade working in environmental justice and as an economic consultant. A New York City native, she founded the non-profit corporation Sustainable South Bronx, an organization that seeks to improve environmental conditions in the famous NYC borough. In this series, she meets with some of the country's other passionate environmentalists, offering viewers a better sense of both the amount of work being done around the country to make our cities greener, as well as the need for these projects to continue and multiply.
