Eat Street

Eat Street is a Cooking Channel series that takes viewers on a tour of the tasty, eclectic and often creative street foods served from mobile food trucks in North America. Hosted by Canadian comedian James Cunningham, Eat Street goes behind the counter to see these entrepreneurs create their unique and sometimes outrageous dishes. Featured street eats have included gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches served in Los Angeles and authentic Indian food, including Rechad Masala Shrimp, passed out of a truck in Austin, Texas. While in Portland, Oregon, a surreal burger called the Redonkadonk was on the rolling menu. It included an egg, ham, turkey, bacon, spam and two grilled cheeses sandwiches all stuffed between two enormous buns and - somewhere inside - a hamburger. Eat Street has visited destinations such as Washington D.C., New York City and Seattle, Washington. In addition to the television series, the producers have also created a mobile application called the Eat Street App, which allows users to track mobile food vendors near their hometowns using GPS.
