Easy Money

Easy Money is a TV drama that aired on The CW Television Network. It aired for eight episodes from October 5, 2008 to August 16, 2009. The show revolved around the Buffkin Family, owners of Prestige Payday Loans, a short-term loan business. Morgan Buffkin (Jeff Hephner) finds himself in the middle of his family's issues. His brother Cooper (Jay R. Ferguson) insists on having the fine things in life, including a Mercedes. The morals of his sister Brandy (Katie Lowes) are less than desirable, so much so, that she even consults with a pastor in one episode. His mother Bobette (Laurie Metcalf) is known to be manipulative, as is his father Roy (Nick Searcy). Morgan questions if his parents are being honest with him about his relation to the family. The show featured regular appearances by detective Barry (Judge Reinhold). Easy Money was created by Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider and directed by Alik Sakharov. MORE
