Earth 2

Earth 2 is the NBC science fiction series that follows the journey of the Eden Project, an expedition that is trying to settle on an Earth-like planet called G889 It is the year 2192, and most of Earth has fled to space stations, and only a small number of humans stay on the almost uninhabitable planet. The government and medical community is not acknowledging the disease called the Syndrome, which affects children on the space stations, usually killing them before the age of nine. When Billionaire Devon Adair's son Ulysses contracts the disease, she puts together a group to try to settle a planet 22 light-years away from Earth, where families afflicted by the Syndrome can colonize. The government is opposed and tries to put a stop to the mission, but twenty-two years later they crash land on G889, on the opposite side from where they planned to land. They meet hostile natives like the Grendlers and Terrians, and learn that they may hold the key to a cure. MORE
