Dragon Ball Z

Dragon Ball Z (or DBZ) is the follow-up to the long-running anime Dragon Ball, which follows one powerful young warrior named Goku as he travels across earth making friends, battling enemies, and participating in martial arts tournaments. In Dragon Ball Z, Goku is all grown up. He's the most powerful fighter on Earth, and he's charged with defending the planet from various alien threats. He has a few loyal pals to help him-his son Gohan, Trunks, Bulma, Piccolo, Krillin, and more. In DBZ, the stakes are higher then ever before, with the World Martial Arts Tournament being the least of Goku's concerns. As the series begins, Goku faces Vegeta, a powerful new enemy from an alien race called the Saiyans-a race Goku himself belongs to. Vegeta has come to Earth to finish the job Goku was supposed to complete years ago-taking over the planet Earth.
