Don't Tell the Bride

Don't Tell the Bride is a BBC America reality show that centers around several cash-strapped couples about to say "I do." The premise of the show is the couples are given $20,000 to create their dream wedding. The catch is that the groom is responsible for all the planning including the invitations, the reception, the meal and even the bride's dress. Also, the bride and groom are forbidden to see each other during the weeks leading up to the nuptials. The situation is highly stressful -- especially for the groom who is placed in a precarious situation. His goal is to please his fiance, so naturally he wonders if he's up to the task. The bride on the other hand is a bit worried if she will be pleasantly surprised or mortified once she sees what the groom has in store.
