Don't Forget the Lyrics is a game show on FOX hosted by Wayne Brady. Contestants on the show don't need singing skills or even dancing abilities. All they have to be able to do is remember the lyrics to popular hit songs. Contestants choose their genres or artists, and are presented with the chance to sing along, karaoke style, with the show's studio band. Although they are given the lyrics at the start of the song, after a certain amount of time they must be able to produce the next lyric from their own memory. If they guess the missing lyric correctly, they have the option of keeping their winnings or moving on to the next song. After correctly guessing the missing lyrics to nine songs, contestants are given the chance to compete for the one million dollar grand prize by guessing at one last missing lyric Although most of the time the contestants are on their own, they are given a few backups, where they can ask for help with the lyrics from their friends. Some celebrity contestants have included Boyz II Men, Bret Michaels, En Vogue, Penn & Teller, and Meat Loaf. Don't Forget the Lyrics was produced by RDF USA and aired from 2007-2009. A syndicated version will begin in 2010 with Mark McGrath as host.MORE
