Do Not Disturb” is a sitcom on FOX that aired in September of 2008 but was cancelled shortly thereafter. Only five episodes were aired before cancellation, and Jason Bateman was directing the pilot. The workplace comedy was about the going-ons at The Inn, a hotel that used to be very hot and hip in the heart of New York City. What made this sitcom entertaining was the staff. The Inn is staffed with an eclectic group of supervisors, including an egotistical, overzealous detail-oriented general manager Neal (Jerry O’Conell), and Rhonda Peet (Niecy Nash), a brash and honest Human Resources manager who sets her own strict rules for everyone to follow. The front desk is armed with youngings Nicole (Molly Stanton), a cynical model, and Jason (Brando Eaton), a naïve bellman who was hired to stand at the front of the hotel and look good. Downstairs, another staff consists of Molly (Jolene Purdy), the reservations clerk who wants to be a famous pop star, and Larry (Jesse Tyler Ferguson), the housekeeping head who doesn’t spend enough time cleaning up after guests.MORE
